We'd like to acknowledge these contributors or sources of inspiration for all that we do!
Buffer
The team at Buffer, founded by Joel and Leo, live by an admirable set of 10 core values as well as being pioneers in their management practices. In particular, their level of transparency is quite unheralded. They introduced a salary formula to remove any shrouds of secrecy over what individuals at the company would earn. They then took the unprecedented step to publish the formula and people's calculated salary on their website. Throughout the company's journey they have shared their progress online; what's worked for them and what hasn't - the good news, as well as the bad. We find their approach to running a company simply inspiring.
Jurgen Appelo & Happy Melly
For several years now we’ve been fans of Jurgen Appelo. His ‘Management 3.0’ book and subsequent training course have provided many management and leadership practices we’ve used ourselves, as well as shared with others. Jurgen established Happy Melly to provide a growing global network of businesses and individuals dedicated to promoting happiness at work.
Leaders in heels
Jiggity Jig is proud to be a business patron sponsor for Leaders in Heels' new Make Your Mark Journals, a set of notebooks and journals aimed at creating female leaders, which is an exciting new creative project of Kasia Gospos. We look forward to getting our set that we ordered soon. We think Leaders in Heels is a great movement empowering females in leadership.
O.B.V & 99 Designs
Olga, aka O.B.V did our logo through the site 99 Designs. We enjoyed that process putting our quirky design brief referencing Bladerunner and Bacon, out for any freelancer signed up to 99 Designs to submit designs, and compete with other designers as we went through iterations, until we chose our final design. Olga was particularly good to work with, keen to take on feedback and make iterations, a good listener and very responsive and she became the frontrunner early on.
UnSplash
We love Unsplash, we love and use their images on our site. We love that they've "created the world's first crowdsourced, open book" image sharing site. You should definitely check them out.
